In her performance Aina ja uudestaan (Always and again), Levonoja shapes a clay vase over and over again but it will never finish. The space has a banding wheel, 10 kg of clay and a table with a plasterboard and a water oval on it. The work starts when the artist opens a package of clay, and starts building a clay pot.

The name of the work comes from the Instagram post published by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland, which contains an excerpt from Paula Vesala's blog post "Välillä tulee väsymys" (in English: sometimes you get tired). Vesala hopes that after overcoming a fatigue artists would be able to love and make art for art's sake over and over again.

The artwork was created from the sentences, packing together the feelings of fatigue and professional uncertainty experienced by the artist during the winter, and the moments when you didn't always know what you were doing, how to continue, but you still kept doing.

Levonoja muovaa performansissaan Aina ja uudestaan käsin savista ruukkua, joka ei koskaan valmistu. Tilassa on kavaletti, 10 kg savea ja pöytä, jonka päällä on kipsilevy ja vesisoikko. Teos alkaa kun taiteilija avaa savipaketin, ja alkaa rakentaa saviruukkua.

Teoksen nimi tulee Taiteen edistämiskeskuksen julkaisemasta Instagram-julkaisusta, jossa on ote Paula Vesalan blogitekstistä “Välillä tulee väsymys”. Vesala toivoo että taiteilijoiden jaksavan väsymyksen väistyessä rakastaa ja tehdä taidetta taiteen vuoksi yhä vielä, aina ja uudestaan.

Teos syntyi lauseiden pohjalta, pakaten yhteen talven aikana taiteilijan kokeman väsymyksen ja ammatillisen epävarmuuden tunteet, ja hetket, joissa ei aina tiennyt mitä tekee ja miten jatkaa, mutta tekee silti.
